📸 Earn DoorDash $$ for Your Photos
In a recent DoorDash order, I came across their photo incentive program, where you can earn credit by submitting photos of menu items that didn't already have photos. I got $9 credit for 3 photos and it didn't take much time at all. If you want to save even more at DoorDash, they still have $100 gift cards for $80 and our local Costco, which makes everything 20% off. 🗺️ United Adds 13 New Routes in 2025
United Airlines is expanding its network next year with 8 new destinations, including the Azores, Portugal, Greenland, Mongolia, Senegal and Palermo, Italy. We've had a ton of luck getting good redemption value booking United flights through Air Canada Aeroplan and Avianca Lifemiles, so this is pretty exciting news (even if most of the flights are from Newark).
🛫 Crazy Promo: Up to 1 Million SAS EuroBonus Points
SAS has a potentially lucrative promo if you're willing fly around the world over the next 3 months. To celebrate joining SkyTeam, this promo let's you earn 1 million bonus points if you can travel on at least 15 different SkyTeam airlines by 12/31. AwardWallet made a sample itinerary that could be as cheap as $3,435, which is a bargain for 1 million points, but would be a crazy few months of travel. That said a younger, kidless me might have gone for it.
🧳 Latest Hotel + Airline Partnerships
Aeroplan x Marriott Bonvoy: Air Canada's Aeroplan and Marriott Bonvoy have just expanded their partnership with a reciprocal elite status match between programs.
AAdvantage x Hyatt: The ability to earn Hyatt points on American Airlines flights and AAdvantage miles on Hyatt stays will end on 12/31/24. However, they're offering new reciprocal benefits for members of both loyalty program.
🏆 New Bilt Transfer Partners (TAP Air Portugal & Accor)
Bilt Rewards now lets you transfer to TAP Air (1:1) and Accor (3:2). Neither of these are that exciting but the Accor transfers will give you a value of ~1.45¢, which isn't terrible. More details here.

📉 WSJ Article on “Pointsflation”
The WSJ recently published this article about how inflation is eroding the value of credit-card points. While they claim that points have lost 16-20% of their value in the past ~6 years, depending on how they're redeemed. However, they also pointed out that card signup bonuses have increased their offers by 1.5-2x over a similar time frame.
The big thing they didn't mention is that when redeemed optimally, they can offer as much as 2-4x the value of earning cash back, so unless you're redeeming your points for gift cards, I still think there's a ton of value earning points on cards and even more value when doing it from welcome bonuses :)

While haven't listened to most of them yet, I have 5 flights over the next 2 weeks, so hopefully I can make a dent on the most interesting ones. None of my episodes made the list, but if I had to nominate one, it'd probably be Ep #91 with Bill Perkins, because it fundamentally changed the way I think about money and building wealth.
