Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card

Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card

Advertiser Disclosure

I've had the Chase Ink Business Preferred for many years and it's been a favorite for so many small business owners who want to earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points on their regular business expenses. Right now new cardmembers can get a welcome offer of 90,000 points.

But it doesn't stop there, the Ink Business Preferred Card earns 3x Chase points on up to $150,000 in spending per cardmember year (then 1x) in the following categories:

  • Travel
  • Internet, cable and phone services
  • Shipping purchases
  • Advertising purchases through social media sites and search engines

This card also offers 5x points on Lyft rides through March 2025 and 1x points on all other purchases.

So if you've been thinking about getting the Ink Business Preferred, now is a fantastic time to do so.

Welcome Bonus Details

The current 90,000 Chase point welcome bonus is only available to new cardmembers after spending $8,000 on the card within the first 3 months of account opening.

So what can you do with 90,000 Chase points? When using points to book travel through Chase Travel℠, each point is worth 1.25¢, which make this bonus worth $1,125. But my favorite way to use Chase points is by transferring them to one of Chase’s 14 airline and hotel partners, which can offer an even outsized redemption value, which I recently discussed on this episode of my podcast.

My Takeaway

The Ink Business Preferred is my longest standing business card and one of my favorite to recommend. It not only offers great spending bonuses and benefits for a reasonable annual fee, but it also unlocks the ability to transfer points to all 14 of Chase's transfer partners. So when you add the welcome bonus of 90,000 points, I think this a great card to add to your wallet.
